Materials Planner

About the role

The Materials Planner ensures that all necessary materials are available to meet the production schedule while minimizing excess inventory and waste. You will work closely with production, supply chain, and supplier teams to align material flow with the latest production plans.

Key responsibilities

• Guarantee material delivery according to the current production plan.
• Adjust material delivery schedules promptly when production plans change.
• Maintain optimal inventory and safety‑stock levels to cover production needs and reduce obsolescence.
• Lead continuous‑improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance agility in planning and material transportation.
• Identify potential risks, assess impact, and trigger mitigation actions.
• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards for real‑time insight into material flow and inventory performance.
• Support the implementation and compliance of the QEHS system within the planning area.

Required profile

• Experience in materials and inventory management within a supply‑chain environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to assess risks and make data‑driven decisions.
• Proactive attitude toward continuous improvement and process optimisation.
• Ability to work efficiently under changing production priorities.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (intermediate‑advanced level).
• Power BI for data visualisation and reporting.
• Familiarity with continuous‑improvement tools (Process Mapping, PDCA, Strategy Deployment, problem‑solving methodologies).
• Basic risk‑management and analytical assessment techniques.
