Mechanical Design Engineer - Casting Parts

About the role

Join Bosch's Toluca plant to design and develop casting parts for electrified powertrain systems serving the North American market. You will work on advanced engineering projects that support the company's electromobility transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Translate customer requirements into feasible design concepts for metal‑stamped and die‑cast components.
• Deliver design work packages on time and according to specifications.
• Perform technical studies, tolerance analysis, and quality assurance using DFMEA and DRBFM.
• Collaborate with multicultural teams to ensure seamless integration of design with production.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical, Electro‑Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the automotive industry.
• Fluent English (required) and ability to work in a multicultural environment.
• Experience with high‑pressure die‑casting parts and project management.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in NX and CATIA.
• Strong knowledge of GD&T, stack‑up and tolerance calculations.
• Hands‑on experience with high‑pressure die casting.
• Familiarity with DFMEA and DRBFM methodologies.
