MEP Project Manager – Construction (Ciudad Juarez)

About the role

Turner & Townsend is seeking an on‑site MEP Project Manager for a construction project in Ciudad Juarez. You will coordinate mechanical, electrical and plumbing works, ensuring all installations meet project specifications, Mexican legislation and client standards.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse electromechanical and special installations for compliance with technical specifications and Mexican norms.
• Prepare and control reports, monitor contractor craftsmen qualifications and recommend improvement actions.
• Direct day‑to‑day site monitoring of pipe/mechanical disciplines.
• Develop construction schedules and cost estimates, contribute to WBS, value engineering and risk matrix updates.
• Interpret and apply safety standards and best practices on site.
• Oversee installation of process, electrical and mechanical equipment, including plant inspection of fabricated piping and equipment.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years experience as a Project Manager coordinating MEP design and construction on industrial, manufacturing or hospitality projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and/or Mechanical Engineering.
• Fluent in English and Spanish to lead meetings, write reports and communicate with clients.
• Commissioning experience with electric, HVAC, plumbing, fire‑protection and automation systems.
• PMI certification and LEED experience are a plus.
