Metallurgist Engineer – Process & Quality Lead

About the role

The Metallurgist Engineer will oversee metal and alloy production processes, ensuring efficiency, safety, and compliance with quality standards. This role contributes directly to the company's growth in the metallurgy sector by managing resources and driving continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct daily walkthroughs of metal transformation processes to verify quality compliance.
• Perform metallurgical analysis, laboratory testing, and material evaluations against technical and regulatory specifications.
• Identify improvement opportunities in existing processes and propose solutions to boost productivity and reduce waste.
• Ensure all activities meet safety, occupational health, and environmental regulations.
• Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, quality, and production teams to resolve technical issues.
• Document test results, maintain accurate process records, and prepare technical reports for management.
• Analyze weekly test data, diagnose quality issues, and oversee implementation of corrective actions.
• Participate in continuous improvement programs and stay updated on industry advances.

Required profile

• Strong background in metallurgy or related engineering discipline.
