Mobile Android Solution Architect (Remote, Mexico)

About the role

We are looking for a senior Mobile Android Solution Architect to design and deliver end‑to‑end mobile applications for our clients. The position is fully remote based in Mexico and part of NTT DATA’s Application Modernization practice.

Key responsibilities

• Formulate, design and implement mobile solutions across multiple channels and device form‑factors.
• Lead and mentor development teams, conduct code reviews and ensure architectural compliance.
• Provide pre‑sales support, effort estimation and solutioning for complex, multi‑technology projects in sectors such as commercial, healthcare, and finance.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional groups to translate system specifications into robust software designs.
• Maintain alignment with industry best practices and enterprise standards.

Required profile

• 12+ years of mobile application development experience, with at least 4 years in an architect role.
• 8+ years of Android development experience.
• Strong communication skills to interact with clients and internal stakeholders.

Required skills

• Android development using Java and Kotlin.
• Jetpack Compose UI layout.
• Jetpack components: ViewModel, LiveData, Room Database, WorkManager.
• Experience with architectural patterns such as MVC.
