Multi-Country Project Manager & Consortium Coordinator

About the role

Save the Children Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) is looking for a Multi-country Project Manager and Consortium Coordinator based in Mexico or Guatemala. The post-holder ensures the multi-country project is delivered on time, within budget and to high quality, acting as the operational link between the consortium partners (Save the Children, NRC, DRC and Plan International) and reporting to the project Steering Committee.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the link between the Technical Committee and the Steering Committee, convene meetings and present progress and challenges.
• Lead strategic planning and coordinate implementation and budget execution across countries in line with donor guidelines.
• Monitor activity progress, deadlines, budget execution and data verification, and implement corrective measures.
• Coordinate implementing partners, organize coordination meetings, ensure technical consistency and carry out field visits.
• Design and run the MEAL system, consolidate partner data and document lessons learned.
• Monitor donor compliance, including financial regulations.
• Prepare financial and narrative reports for internal use and for the donor, submitting them to SC Spain on time.
• Oversee financial implementation and ensure funds are used in line with donor requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (economics, business management, social science); a master's in project management, humanitarian aid, education in emergencies or migration and displacement is preferred.
• Senior humanitarian operations experience, including at least 3 years leading regional humanitarian projects.
• Experience with ECHO-funded projects and knowledge of donor compliance.
• Excellent Spanish and English, flexibility to travel up to 50% of the time, and commitment to Save the Children's values.
