Multifamily Portfolio Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a Multifamily Portfolio Analyst to support the financial monitoring of a multifamily real‑estate portfolio. The analyst will collect, organize and review quarterly financial information from sponsors and properties, flagging inconsistencies and material variances for the investment team.

Key responsibilities

• Contact investment sponsors to obtain quarterly financial statements and supporting data.
• Input data into standardized Excel reporting models and verify completeness.
• Review rental income, operating expenses, debt schedules, reserves and other property‑level metrics.
• Compare current performance against prior periods or projections and highlight material variances.
• Perform financial statement and variance analysis and summarize findings for internal stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate financial records across multiple multifamily assets and support recurring quarterly portfolio reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business or related field (preferred).
• 2–5 years of experience in accounting, financial analysis, real‑estate finance or asset management.
• Strong knowledge of financial statements, GL reconciliation and variance analysis.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently under recurring deadlines.
• Professional proficiency in English.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with financial reporting models and formula auditing.
