National Sea Logistics Training Manager

About the role

As the National Sea Logistics Training Manager you will lead the design and delivery of training programmes that enable Kuehne+Nagel’s freight forwarding teams to operate efficiently and reliably across sea‑based supply chains. You will work closely with operational experts to translate logistics processes into engaging learning experiences that support both national and international business goals.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, deliver and continuously improve training programmes on sea‑logistics processes, systems and best practices.
• Identify and implement process optimisation opportunities, standardising knowledge across the network.
• Manage the national training calendar, ensuring the right learning opportunities are available to all employees.
• Provide system administration support, including user management and training platform maintenance.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders to promote knowledge sharing and enhance the overall customer experience.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Industrial Engineering, Transportation or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in sea logistics or freight forwarding operations.
• Proven experience delivering training, coaching teams or leading knowledge‑sharing initiatives.
• Strong understanding of logistics processes and continuous‑improvement methodologies.
• Advanced English communication skills and excellent organisational and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Willingness to travel nationally and internationally.
