.NET Senior Software Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Global Fintech Mexico team, part of Walmart’s technology organization. In this individual‑contributor position you will own end‑to‑end delivery of platform products, mentor junior engineers and help shape the technical roadmap for our hybrid architecture solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Translate complex business processes into robust .NET implementations.
• Maintain and improve the deployment pipeline, ensuring smooth releases.
• Interpret design diagrams and guide junior engineers in their execution.
• Review pull requests to enforce best‑practice coding standards.
• Write clean, SOLID‑compliant code and apply appropriate design patterns.
• Develop comprehensive test suites, from unit to end‑to‑end tests.
• Analyze legacy codebases and lead their migration to modern, scalable solutions.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience with the .NET and .NET Core ecosystem.
• Strong command of modern C# features such as async/await, LINQ and object‑oriented programming.
• Practical knowledge of TDD, DDD and BDD methodologies.
• Understanding of distributed systems and event‑sourcing patterns.
• Collaborative mindset with a passion for continuous learning.
