Network & Security Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Network & Security Engineer to secure and maintain the digital infrastructure that supports renewable energy installations worldwide. The role is based in Mexico City and reports to the DNV office, contributing to a greener future through reliable network performance.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, maintain, and secure network devices such as switches, routers, firewalls, and VPNs to ensure integrity and uptime.
• Design, implement, and manage network security solutions including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPNs.
• Monitor network traffic and respond to security incidents using SIEM tools.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration tests on network infrastructure.
• Manage and secure virtualized environments (VMware, Hyper‑V) and apply security protocols.
• Collaborate on network design and upgrades, integrating security best practices and policies.
• Assess and improve infrastructure stability, security, and scalability.
• Respond to security breaches, perform root‑cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain security documentation and conduct audits of systems and networks.
• Evaluate and deploy security tools while staying current on cybersecurity trends and threats.
