Occupational Health Physician

About the role

We are looking for an Occupational Health Physician to provide medical support for occupational injuries and illnesses within our manufacturing facilities. The role ensures employee health, safety and wellness while collaborating closely with production, EHS and HR teams.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate, treat and document work‑related accidents and illnesses.
• Manage occupational health cases and coordinate return‑to‑work plans.
• Provide first‑aid, clinical guidance and on‑site medical care for employees who become ill.
• Maintain accurate employee health records and assess workplace health hazards.
• Collaborate with Environmental Health & Safety to ensure compliance with occupational health regulations and ISO 45001 standards.
• Support incident investigations, root‑cause analysis and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Promote employee wellness programs and communicate health information in English when required.

Required profile

• Medical Degree (MD) with authorization to practice medicine in Mexico.
• 4–8 years of experience in occupational health or industrial medicine within a manufacturing environment.
• Advanced written and verbal English communication skills.
• Proven ability to work with production, EHS, HR and cross‑functional plant teams.
• Knowledge of occupational health regulations and ISO 45001 standards.

Required skills
