About the role
The Occupational Nurse coordinates and delivers employee health and wellness programs. This role manages initial medical care, screening, health education, and maintains all related medical records while collaborating with Human Resources on medical leaves and workers’ compensation cases.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate employee health and wellness programs.
- Provide initial medical care, conduct medical screenings, and deliver health education.
- Work with Human Resources to administer and monitor medical leaves of absence.
- Manage workers’ compensation case management and tracking.
- Maintain individual employee health records, OSHA logs, and workers’ compensation documentation.
- Do not dispense or administer medication.
Required profile
- Experience coordinating employee health and wellness initiatives.
- Familiarity with medical screening and health education processes.
- Ability to collaborate with HR on medical leave administration.
- Knowledge of workers’ compensation case management.
- Proficiency in maintaining medical records and OSHA documentation.
