About the role
Aurora is seeking an Office Manager for its Mexico City location. The role ensures the office runs smoothly, supports company operations, and fosters a positive workplace environment.
Key responsibilities
- Act as the main point of contact for all office‑related queries.
- Oversee day‑to‑day office operations to maintain an efficient working environment.
- Manage office space and infrastructure planning, including moves and workstation layouts.
- Ensure compliance with local health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Represent the Core department locally, triaging and referring queries to appropriate teams.
- Identify and fulfil office supply and equipment needs while managing supplier relationships.
- Manage and report on the budget for local office activities and purchases.
- Provide administrative support to senior management and the broader BIO team, including scheduling, travel booking, and handling shipments.
- Define and maintain local office policies in line with company procedures.
Required profile
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to interact with all levels diplomatically.
- Calm under pressure, able to meet tight deadlines with a proactive approach to planning and prioritisation.
- Big‑picture thinking combined with willingness to handle day‑to‑day operational tasks.
- Highly organised, efficient, and detail‑oriented.
- Previous experience in an international company in an operational role, preferably within professional services.
- Relevant experience across multiple operational disciplines such as project management, finance, consulting, or start‑ups.
