Operations Assistant – Youth Sports Programs

About the role

We are a fast‑growing private youth sports organization looking for an energetic Operations Assistant to support coach scheduling and workforce operations across Canada. You will ensure programs run smoothly by coordinating staff, handling last‑minute changes, and maintaining accurate records.

Key responsibilities

• Build, manage, and maintain weekly coaching schedules for multiple programs and regions.
• Coordinate staffing assignments based on coach availability, certifications, travel needs, and program requirements.
• Monitor daily schedule coverage and proactively identify staffing gaps.
• Respond quickly to coach cancellations, absences, and scheduling conflicts.
• Arrange replacement staff and operational adjustments in real time.
• Communicate schedule updates and operational changes to coaches, managers, schools, and partners.
• Maintain accurate scheduling records and workforce tracking systems.
• Support onboarding logistics and scheduling setup for new coaching staff.
• Collaborate with regional managers and leadership to ensure operational efficiency and program quality.

What we offer

• Compensation of $800‑1200 USD per month plus a bonus structure.
