Operations Handler – Package Delivery & Warehouse Support

About the role

The Operations Handler supports the receipt of products and fulfillment of customer orders through safe and efficient operational processes. You will ensure that customer material arrives in optimal condition at the required time while maintaining compliance with FedEx safety policies.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver and pick up packages, verifying labeling, weight, size, wrapping, insurance values and hazardous‑material requirements.
• Prepare and manage paperwork such as airway bills, delivery records and vehicle condition reports.
• Load company vehicles safely, audit package dimensions, and operate vehicles with basic maintenance tasks.
• Unload, validate (quality and quantity) and palletize customer merchandise, using skids or certified forklift operation.
• Process orders using handheld scanners, PCs (WMS and/or Excel), and perform value‑added tasks like kit assembly, labeling and packaging.
• Seek additional business from existing customers and communicate changes to Station Operations Manager and Sales.

Required profile

• Middle‑school education or equivalent (preferred) and basic English skills.
• General knowledge of warehouse, packaging and inventory processes.
• Physical ability to lift 55 lb and maneuver packages up to 150 lb with equipment.
• Availability for variable shifts and ability to pass basic skills tests (reading, map reading, sorting, math).

Required skills

• Use of handheld scanner and PC (WMS, Excel).
• Certified forklift operation (when applicable).
• Operation of ramp and other warehouse equipment.
• Basic vehicle maintenance and use of power/hand tools.
