Operations Officer – Global Operations (Mexico City)

About the role

The Operations Officer will support Global Operations in Mexico City, ensuring smooth day‑to‑day activities, compliance with policies, and the delivery of cultural transformation initiatives across the region. Reporting to the Associate Director, Latin America and the Caribbean, this position provides critical visibility into operational goals, progress, and challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate local operational requirements with Operations Directors, covering events, travel, HR queries, and onboarding.
• Co‑lead implementation and compliance of Global Operations policies at the local level.
• Manage contracts and vendors for local outsourcing, ensuring alignment with global standards.
• Support the Safety, Health, Environment & Quality (SHEQ) Officer with location‑specific health and safety activities.
• Oversee facilities management, process vendor invoices, track budgets, and maintain contract records.
• Assist with cultural transformation initiatives across geographies.
• Review and approve local procurement and contracts before signing.
• Collaborate on budgeting, expense monitoring, and financial inquiries with Finance.
• Act as local signatory for operational processes, including bank payments and vendor contracts.

Required profile

• Basic understanding of real‑estate management principles.
• Experience in change‑management or transformational environments.
• Proven ability to communicate clearly with audiences of varying seniority.
• Experience managing contracts and vendor relationships.
• Familiarity with local compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Capability to analyze complex data sets and draw insights.
