Operations Support Senior Manager

About the role

The Operations Support Senior Manager leads a professional team to deliver seamless operations support services aligned with Citi’s infrastructure and processes. This senior‑level position works closely with the Operations‑Core team to ensure high‑quality, efficient service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Manage teams and departments through delegation, performance evaluations, hiring, compensation, disciplinary actions and terminations.
• Monitor quality, efficiency and training needs of the team, and maintain appropriate staffing levels.
• Develop budgets, policies and short‑term resource plans.
• Handle complex issues with significant departmental impact and provide evaluative judgment.
• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, Citi policies and ethical standards, escalating control issues as needed.

Required profile

• 6‑10 years of experience in the financial services industry, preferably commercial banking.
• Strong knowledge of client onboarding, commercial liability account opening, maintenance and AML requirements.
• Proven ability to work under pressure, manage deadlines and communicate clearly.
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
