Operations Team Leader

About the role

Colgate-Palmolive is seeking a dynamic Operations Team Leader to drive operational excellence at its manufacturing site in San Jose Iturbide. You will lead a high‑performing team, manage daily production schedules, ensure safety and quality compliance, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Champion safety by enforcing EOHS policies, conducting observations, and leading incident investigations.
• Uphold quality standards, ensuring compliance with cGMP, documentation practices, and SOPs.
• Oversee process integrity, including line validation, cleaning, and sanitization.
• Manage change management (MOC), report non‑conformities, and execute CAPAs.
• Facilitate seamless shift handovers and daily performance meetings.
• Analyze material losses and optimize resources using FP&R guidelines and data tools (OPERA, Tableau).
• Maintain 5S and Visual Workplace standards and support planned maintenance execution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Chemical, Process Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience managing personnel or teams.
• Basic to intermediate English proficiency.
