About the role

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking an Operator 1 to join its manufacturing team on the first (day) shift. The role involves working in a cleanroom environment, following strict Good Manufacturing Practices to help produce high‑quality products that support global health, safety and environmental goals.

Key responsibilities

• Operate manufacturing equipment and follow standard operating procedures on the first shift.
• Maintain cleanroom compliance by adhering to dress‑code restrictions (no hair products, jewelry, makeup, etc.).
• Document production activities and ensure data integrity in accordance with GMP.
• Identify and report any deviations or safety concerns promptly.
• Support continuous‑improvement initiatives and collaborate with team members.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• No prior work experience required; willingness to learn.
• Preferred experience in manufacturing, operations, production or laboratory settings.
• Familiarity with a cGMP environment is a plus.

Required skills

• Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Knowledge of cleanroom protocols and dress‑code requirements.
• Ability to follow detailed work instructions and maintain accurate records.
