Package and Container Analyst

About the role

The Package and Container Analyst ensures safe, high‑quality production by overseeing material handling, packaging equipment, and supply‑chain processes. You will work closely with production, purchasing, and engineering teams to optimise the flow of materials and minimise damage.

Key responsibilities

• Guarantee compliance with safety and quality standards for production and equipment use.
• Develop and implement Kaizen‑based improvement proposals for receipt, storage, and supply‑line processes.
• Oversee material‑handling requisitions and projects, coordinating launches to avoid production impact.
• Analyse packaging equipment to reduce material damage through better containerisation.
• Manage resources, including manpower and equipment, and coordinate transport receipt and departures.
• Monitor SQDCME scorecard indicators and take corrective actions.
• Participate in pilot projects for new vehicles, designing racks and containers.
• Maintain communication with purchasing, production, labor relations, and engineering stakeholders.
• Support FIFO storage, inventory level controls, and value‑chain mapping improvements.

Required profile

• University degree.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in material handling, packaging, or logistics.
• Proven ability to lead safety‑compliance initiatives and continuous‑improvement projects.
