Payroll Tax Analyst

About the role

The Payroll Tax Analyst ensures accurate calculation, processing, reporting, and compliance of payroll taxes, social security obligations, and statutory employee benefits. This role supports payroll operations, maintains employee records, manages tax filings, and serves as a key contact for payroll inquiries and external audits.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain employee records in the SUA system and process IMSS registrations, modifications, and terminations.
• Perform monthly and annual social security calculations, risk insurance payments, and annual reporting, including NIF D-3 obligations.
• Review, validate, and submit payroll tax calculations and monthly ISN payments, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Conduct payroll tax account reconciliations and provide documentation for external audits.
• Calculate and process bimonthly INFONAVIT contributions, manage annual reporting, and administer employee INFONAVIT and FONACOT credits.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in payroll, payroll tax, or accounting functions.
• Hands‑on experience with Mexican payroll regulations and statutory compliance.
• Proven ability to manage IMSS, INFONAVIT, FONACOT, and State Payroll Tax obligations.
• Experience supporting audits and performing payroll reconciliations.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of Mexican Payroll Regulations.
• Expertise with IMSS, INFONAVIT, FONACOT, SUA, ISN (State Payroll Tax), NIF D-3, and PTU.
