Plant Director - MX

About the role

The Plant Director will lead all daily operations of our manufacturing facility in Mexico, ensuring production efficiency, product quality, and strict adherence to safety and food‑safety standards. This senior position reports directly to corporate leadership and shapes strategic plans for the plant.

Key responsibilities

• Set and achieve production objectives while maintaining product quality control.
• Direct and coordinate plant operations in line with company policies and guidelines.
• Collaborate with department managers to synchronize purchasing, production, and shipping activities.
• Select, train, and develop supervisory and administrative staff.
• Foster a motivated workforce through strong leadership and communication.
• Conduct employee performance reviews and regular plant meetings.
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment and ensure compliance with the SQF System.
• Report any deviations, equipment issues, or process abnormalities.
• Travel up to 20% of the time for site visits and corporate meetings.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 + years experience in a manufacturing or field environment.
• At least 10 + years in a similar senior operational role.
• Proven track record of managing people and projects for 10 + years.
• Combination of relevant work experience and education is acceptable.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the SQF (Safe Quality Food) system.
