Plant Finance Controller II

About the role

Dauch Corporation is hiring a Plant Finance Controller II to lead the financial controlling department at Villagran 1. The role covers budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, internal controls and business partnering, with a focus on manufacturing and operational environments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead annual budget, forecast and long-range planning; analyze performance against financial and operational KPIs; build business cases and evaluate strategic initiatives.
• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual closing; ensure accurate reporting under corporate policies and accounting standards; monitor operating expenses, capital expenditures and working capital.
• Analyze variances, support audits and coordinate responses to internal and external audit requirements.
• Develop and standardize financial reporting tools, dashboards and management reports, and present performance reviews to management.
• Set up and maintain internal controls, monitor compliance with policies, regulations and governance standards, and close control gaps.
• Partner with operational, functional and leadership teams, acting as a trusted advisor and supporting resource optimization.
• Support financial systems, tools and reporting platforms, and drive continuous improvement in forecasting, reporting and data quality.
• Lead, coach and develop the Finance Controlling team, setting objectives and fostering accountability.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or a related field; MBA, Master's, CPA, CMA or equivalent certification preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in Finance, Accounting, FP&A or Controlling roles; experience in manufacturing and operational environments preferred.
• Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting and business partnering.
• Experience leading teams and managing cross-functional stakeholders.

Required skills

• Advanced financial analysis, cost management and budgeting, financial reporting and business case development.
• ERP systems (SAP, Oracle or equivalent).
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.
• Data analysis, dashboard development and financial reporting tools.
