Plant Finance Senior Analyst (Plant Controller)

About the role

Sealed Air is seeking a Plant Finance Senior Analyst to act as the financial partner for its manufacturing operations. Based in Monterrey, Mexico, you will primarily support the Madera, California plant while also providing oversight for smaller sites or product lines. This role blends accounting fundamentals with manufacturing finance exposure and offers a path toward broader plant controller responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Execute monthly financial close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Review and explain plant financial results versus budget, forecast, prior year, and standards.
• Analyze manufacturing costs, variances, inventory activity, and other operational drivers.
• Partner with plant managers and operations teams to provide financial visibility and support decision‑making.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities and track the financial impact of operational initiatives.
• Support forecasting and budgeting processes for assigned sites.
• Maintain a strong internal control environment and ensure compliance with accounting policies.
• Assist with inventory valuation, fixed‑asset activity, and manufacturing‑related accounting processes.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain Finance, Operations, and Division Finance teams.

Required profile

• Relevant accounting or finance experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of general accounting activities and principles.
• Ability to work with multiple sites and balance competing priorities.
• Proactive mindset with a focus on delivering accurate financial information.
