Plant Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Plant Manager to lead all operations at our medical‑device manufacturing facility in Querétaro. The role combines strategic oversight with hands‑on leadership to ensure safety, quality, delivery, cost efficiency and talent development.

Key responsibilities

• Lead overall plant performance, meeting safety, quality, delivery and profitability targets.
• Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with global business goals.
• Ensure compliance with FDA, ISO 13485 and GMP regulations.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing, operational excellence and continuous‑improvement programs.
• Build and mentor high‑performing cross‑functional teams.
• Manage KPIs, budgets, capital investments and resource allocation.
• Partner with strategic customers to maintain service levels and satisfaction.
• Oversee plant expansion, automation and process‑optimization initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Biomedical, Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive manufacturing operations experience.
• Minimum 5 years leading a manufacturing plant or complex operation.
• Proven track record in financial performance and cross‑functional team leadership.
• Advanced English communication skills.
• Willingness to travel as business needs require.
