PLC Engineer – Automation & Control Systems

About the role

The PLC Engineer designs, programs, implements and maintains PLC‑based automation solutions that drive efficiency, safety and reliability across manufacturing production lines. The role works closely with cross‑functional teams to provide technical support and lead continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, modify and troubleshoot PLC programs using Allen‑Bradley RSLogix, Studio 5000 and Mitsubishi GX‑Works3.
• Design PLC control architectures for new lines and integrate them with existing systems.
• Support production and maintenance teams in resolving complex automation issues.
• Create maintenance documentation, training materials and deliver technical training.
• Assist business units with automation projects, including RFP development, contractor coordination and FAT/SAT validation.
• Ensure compliance with ISO standards, safety regulations and internal management systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechatronics or Control Systems Engineering.
• 5+ years of hands‑on experience in automation and control systems.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Required skills

• PLC programming (Allen‑Bradley, Mitsubishi).
• Industrial robot programming (Fanuc, Epson, Kuka, Yaskawa).
• HMI programming (Proface).
• Vision system integration (Keyence, Cognex).
• Servomotor control (Festo, Mitsubishi, Panasonic).
• Industrial communication protocols (Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Profibus).
