PLC Programmer – Industrial Automation

About the role

We are looking for an experienced PLC Programmer to join Bosch’s industrial automation team in Guadalajara. You will develop and maintain PLC software for end‑of‑line (EOL) systems, ensuring reliable communication between ACS, PLC and PC platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Design, program and maintain PLC applications for EOL testing equipment.
• Implement and troubleshoot communication links between ACS, PLC and PC.
• Develop LabVIEW‑based test automation solutions.
• Configure industrial communication protocols such as OPC UA, Profinet, Ethernet/IP and Modbus TCP.
• Support Factory Acceptance Test (FAT), Site Acceptance Test (SAT), commissioning and production ramp‑up activities.
• Prepare technical documentation, validation reports and ensure compliance with CE, UKCA, ISO 13849, IEC 62061 and IEC 61508 standards.

Required profile

• 5–8 years of experience in industrial automation and PLC programming.
• Strong background with Siemens TIA Portal (preferred), Allen Bradley or Beckhoff platforms.
• Hands‑on experience with LabVIEW development and test automation.
• Familiarity with ACS systems and machine integration.
• Knowledge of industrial networking and safety PLC implementation.
