Postdoctoral Researcher – AI & Wealth Management in Family Business

About the role

EGADE Business School invites applications for two full‑time Postdoctoral Researcher positions focused on enterprising families. One position concentrates on artificial intelligence and long‑term orientation, the other on wealth management of family enterprises. The role is based in Monterrey, Mexico, and will report to Dr. Justin Craig and Dr. Marcela Ramírez Pasillas.

Key responsibilities

• Co‑author high‑impact research papers on family business, AI, continuity, wealth, and related topics.
• Design and execute quantitative, qualitative, or mixed‑methods studies, including data collection, archival research, surveys, and advanced analytics.
• Apply AI and machine‑learning techniques to analyze large datasets.
• Curate, review, and manage publications of the Institute of Enterprising Families (IFEM).
• Oversee research workflows, ensure ethical compliance, and disseminate findings through manuscripts, conferences, seminars, and practitioner outlets.
• Optional teaching duties based on interest and program needs.

Required profile

• PhD (completed or defended by January 2026) in Management, Business, Economics, Sustainability, Engineering, or related fields.
• Demonstrated research interest in family business, AI, ownership, or wealth management, with working papers or publications.
• Strong empirical and theoretical abilities.
• Excellent written and spoken English and Spanish for fieldwork and collaboration.

Required skills

• Proficiency in R, Stata, or Python.
• Experience with machine‑learning methods and advanced analytics.
• Ability to develop propositions, hypotheses, and conduct qualitative coding.
