PR Manager – International Devices & Services

About the role

Amazon is seeking a bold, creative PR leader to shape how Mexican customers discover and fall in love with its devices and services such as Alexa, Echo, Kindle, Fire TV, Ring, Blink and Amazon Leo. The role sits at the intersection of technology, culture and storytelling, driving high‑impact campaigns that resonate locally while aligning with a global brand.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and lead proactive, results‑focused PR campaigns that support business objectives.
• Plan and execute product and service launches, measuring success against predefined goals.
• Partner with external PR agencies to create and implement PR plans for devices and services.
• Serve as the primary Amazon voice for Mexico’s top tech and lifestyle journalists, building long‑term relationships.
• Turn fast‑moving news cycles into opportunities, protecting and elevating Amazon’s reputation in real time.
• Collaborate with PR teams across Amazon (Stores, AWS, Prime Video) to deliver integrated, holistic campaigns.

Required profile

• 7+ years of professional communications or public relations experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations or a related field.
• Proven experience in media relations, issues management and consumer media (news, technology, broadcast).
• Fluent written and spoken English with strong grammar and concise writing skills.
• Deep knowledge of Mexican media topics and trends.
• Ability to manage multiple projects autonomously in a fast‑paced corporate environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with AI tools for research and content creation.
