About the role
The American Institute of Monterrey (AIM) is seeking a passionate, caring, and dedicated Pre‑Nursery Homeroom Teacher to join its Early Years team on the Chipinque campus. You will create a nurturing, engaging, and stimulating environment for our youngest learners, fostering confidence, curiosity, independence, and foundational skills.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver age‑appropriate, play‑based learning experiences aligned with the AIM Early Years curriculum.
- Maintain a safe, welcoming classroom that supports academic, social, emotional, and physical development.
- Observe, assess, and document student progress, providing regular feedback to families and school leadership.
- Differentiate instruction to meet each child’s developmental stage and individual needs.
- Collaborate with teaching assistants, specialist teachers, and the wider Early Years team.
- Promote positive behaviour, emotional wellbeing, and a strong sense of belonging.
Required profile
- Passionate, caring, and dedicated to early childhood education.
- Strong communication skills with students, families, and colleagues.
- Ability to create a stimulating, inclusive classroom environment.
