Primary Teacher (Grade 2)

About the role

Inspired Education is seeking a Grade 2 primary teacher to join its award‑winning team. The role involves delivering high‑quality learning experiences that inspire, challenge and support students to reach their full potential within the SEP curriculum framework.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver lessons aligned with curriculum standards and school expectations.
• Differentiate instruction to support SEN, ELL and gifted learners.
• Use a variety of teaching strategies to maximise student engagement and achievement.
• Integrate technology effectively to enhance learning experiences.
• Stay up to date with pedagogy, assessment and curriculum developments.
• Design and implement formative and summative assessments and provide timely feedback.
• Record, analyse and report student progress accurately.
• Participate in moderation processes and use assessment data to inform planning.
• Create and maintain a safe, respectful and positive classroom environment.
• Support students’ social, emotional and personal development.
• Engage in professional development, peer observations and coaching.
• Collaborate in team meetings, interdisciplinary projects and school events.
• Maintain open communication with parents and participate in parent meetings and community events.

Required profile

• Qualified primary teacher capable of delivering lessons that meet SEP requirements.
• Experience differentiating instruction for SEN, ELL and gifted learners.
• Ability to integrate technology into classroom practice.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and collaborative work.
