Procurement Buyer – Strategic Sourcing

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Procurement Buyer to manage contracts and drive cost‑saving initiatives for a global software leader. Reporting to the Director of Strategic Sourcing, you will work independently and collaboratively across finance, legal, sourcing and risk teams.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end management of contracts for assigned procurement categories.
• Conduct RFPs, negotiate terms, and manage supplier relationships.
• Deliver annual cost‑saving projects and monitor vendor performance.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies by partnering with Finance, Accounting, Legal, Security and Risk.
• Act as an ambassador for the Procurement team, supporting internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in a procurement or sourcing function.
• Strong written and verbal communication with a customer‑service focus.
• BS/BA degree or equivalent; Supply Chain or Business degree is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.
• Experience using Adobe tools.
