Procurement Manager

About the role

Join Marriott International's Procurement Team as a Procurement Manager, responsible for shaping sourcing strategies for both food and non‑food commodities across the Mexico cluster. You will develop and manage key vendor contracts, drive cost‑saving initiatives, and support franchised hotels while maintaining high service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the end‑to‑end procurement process: supplier sourcing, bid preparation, cost analysis, negotiations and contract award.
• Analyze spend data to identify high‑volume items, consolidate vendors and leverage volume for better pricing.
• Monitor market trends, price fluctuations and vendor performance; conduct RFPs and select optimal supply‑chain partners.
• Prepare tender documents, vendor communications, reports and detailed spreadsheet analyses.
• Maintain regular contact with cluster hotels to gather requirements, improve programs and ensure compliance.
• Manage P&L responsibilities for rebates and savings across the cluster.
• Travel up to 20% of the time to support hotels and vendor meetings.

Required profile

• Proven experience in procurement or sourcing, preferably within the hospitality sector.
• High proficiency in written and spoken English and Spanish.
• Strong analytical, negotiation and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Willingness to travel domestically up to 20% of total work time.
