Product Compliance Staff Engineer

About the role

The Product Compliance Staff Engineer leads global regulatory certification and market access for electronic products, ensuring compliance with international standards across LATAM, North America, Europe, and Asia.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end product certification processes, defining requirements, managing testing, and supporting product launches.
• Develop and execute global certification strategies for standards such as FCC, CE, UKCA, CB Scheme, NOM, ANATEL, Subtel, Inmetro, and others.
• Coordinate with external laboratories and certification bodies, handling RFQs, purchase orders, test planning, and approval documentation.
• Monitor regulatory changes, translate updates into engineering requirements, and conduct risk assessments.
• Collaborate with engineering, suppliers, and program management to integrate compliance into product design and schedules.
• Maintain technical documentation, declarations of conformity, labeling requirements, and manage compliance lifecycle activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical, Energy, Telecommunications or related field.
• 5‑8+ years of experience in product compliance, regulatory engineering, or certification roles.
• Hands‑on experience with EMC, RF, product safety, and NOM certification for Mexico.
• Proven ability to manage global certification programs across multiple regions.
