Production & Logistics Manager

About the role

The Production & Logistics Manager ensures that manufacturing and supply‑chain activities meet quality, safety, and environmental standards while satisfying customer requirements. Reporting to the Plant/General Manager, this leader has authority to halt processes when risks or non‑conformities are identified.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate production, warehousing, and shipping to achieve on‑time delivery and stakeholder satisfaction.
• Lead Production Supervisors and Logistics personnel, fostering cross‑functional collaboration.
• Ensure compliance with international standards, customer‑specific requirements, and internal policies across Quality, Safety, and Environmental Management Systems.
• Identify, document, monitor, and mitigate risks affecting product and process integrity.
• Drive continuous improvement in safety, productivity, cost, quality, and environmental performance.
• Oversee ERP and labeling systems, logistics communication, and mobile equipment maintenance.
• Implement and promote 5S methodology and training programs for Quality, Safety, and Environmental matters.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing production and logistics operations within an industrial environment.
• Strong leadership skills with the authority to stop processes when necessary.
• Ability to conduct risk analysis and lead problem‑solving initiatives.
• Excellent communication skills for meetings and cross‑functional coordination.
