Production Supervisor

About the role

Valeo is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead a manufacturing team in delivering high‑quality automotive components. You will be responsible for ensuring smooth daily operations, driving continuous improvement, and fostering a safe, collaborative work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Induct new employees, schedule and monitor training actions, and develop multi‑skill plans.
• Manage daily attendance, holidays, safety compliance, and update performance boards.
• Validate operator working time, enforce standard breaks, and ensure adherence to reaction standards.
• Conduct monthly objective reviews, annual appraisals, salary reviews, and career interviews.
• Perform on‑the‑job training (OJT) on standards, maintain up‑to‑date work instructions, and drive 5S, TPM, and SQCDM compliance.
• Detect and address equipment abnormalities, lead first‑level preventive maintenance, and monitor cycle times.
• Propose weekly headcount and organization plans aligned with the Master Production Schedule (MPS).

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising production teams in an automotive or high‑tech manufacturing environment.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
• Ability to work on the shop floor (genba) and engage directly with operators.
