Production & Supply Chain Manager – Agroindustry

About the role

The Operations & Supply Chain Manager will lead the day‑to‑day performance of the Mexican subsidiary of an international industrial equipment company serving the food sector. Based in Guadalajara, you will supervise the assembly workshop, ensure production plans meet customer demand, and manage the full supply chain from procurement to logistics.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily activities of the assembly workshop and lead a small team of technicians.
• Plan, prioritize and monitor production activities to meet on‑time delivery targets.
• Guarantee material and component availability before production starts.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen and continuous‑improvement initiatives to boost productivity and quality.
• Track operational KPIs related to productivity, quality, delivery and safety.
• Manage purchasing, supplier relationships and issue purchase orders.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels and oversee inbound/outbound logistics, including import/export coordination.
• Develop and monitor supply‑chain KPIs, identifying cost‑reduction and efficiency opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Supply Chain Management.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven track record managing production or assembly operations.
• Strong knowledge of procurement, inventory management, planning and logistics.
• Hands‑on leadership style with regular shop‑floor presence.
• Experience leading operational teams and driving continuous‑improvement projects.
• Professional proficiency in English.
