Production & Supply Chain Manager

About the role

The company, a global supplier of industrial equipment for the food sector, is looking for a Production & Supply Chain Manager to lead its Guadalajara operation. This hands‑on role combines day‑to‑day supervision of the assembly workshop with responsibility for the full supply‑chain process, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily activities of the assembly workshop and lead a small team of technicians.
• Plan, prioritize and schedule production based on customer demand, guaranteeing material availability.
• Monitor production progress, resolve operational issues in real time and drive productivity improvements.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen and other continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Manage purchasing, supplier relationships, inventory accuracy and logistics (inbound, warehousing, outbound, import/export).
• Develop and track supply‑chain KPIs, identify cost‑reduction opportunities and collaborate with Sales, Engineering and Finance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with proven leadership of production or assembly operations.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, and professional English proficiency.
