Program Manager, Sustainability

About the role

Amazon is seeking a Program Manager to lead Sustainable Shopping initiatives for Mexican customers. You will shape and execute a roadmap that advances Amazon’s Climate Pledge commitments, collaborating with both local and global teams to scale sustainable product offerings and innovative solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Understand customer sustainability needs and translate them into a working‑backwards product roadmap.
• Partner with global and local teams to develop sourcing and merchandising mechanisms that expand the Climate Pledge Friendly selection.
• Drive growth of packaging‑free shipping options and launch circular‑economy programs such as end‑of‑life recycling initiatives.
• Identify and implement opportunities for donations that benefit local communities.
• Coordinate with sustainability leaders in other countries to share best practices and achieve scale.

Required profile

• 3+ years of program or project management experience.
• Proven ability to work cross‑functionally with technical and non‑technical teams.
• Experience defining and implementing process‑improvement initiatives using data and metrics.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and SQL.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
