Project Architect – Hospitality

About the role

The firm seeks a licensed Project Architect with strong design and technical expertise to lead hospitality projects from concept through implementation. The role involves managing resources, mentoring staff, and ensuring that all deliverables meet the firm’s quality standards and client expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead consultants and internal teams to execute project design and produce implementation documents.
• Collaborate with the Project Initiation Coordinator/Project Manager to develop and monitor production schedules.
• Prepare, review, and coordinate implementation documents, ensuring compliance with QA/QC, firm standards, and code requirements.
• Manage technical resolution and coordination for assigned project portions, including code analysis and zoning compliance.
• Facilitate communication with clients, public agencies, consultants, and contractors, handling RFIs, clarifications, and scope adjustments.
• Conduct client presentations, negotiate critical issues, and oversee material and system selections.
• Lead team meetings, on‑site visits, and field reviews, documenting outcomes and resolving conflicts.

Required profile

• Accredited professional degree in Architecture with a valid Architectural Registration (Cédula Profesional).
• Typically 8+ years of experience in high‑quality design firms.
• Accreditation in sustainable design or a related field.
• Proven ability to mentor staff, manage resources, and uphold firm values.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Revit.
• Strong skills in AutoCAD, Navisworks, and 3D modeling software.
• Experience with Photoshop, Illustrator, SketchUp, and InDesign.
• Competence in Microsoft Office Suite.
