Project Manager (Academy Programs)

About the role
The Academy team is looking for a highly organized Project Manager to oversee training, eLearning, and certification initiatives. This position blends project management, operational execution, and customer‑facing coordination to deliver high‑quality Academy programs while supporting platform evolution.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and support eLearning and certification programs, ensuring accurate setup, tracking, execution, and reporting.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers and students, aligning on training requirements, timelines, and objectives.
- Create, maintain, and manage project artifacts such as schedules, trackers, status reports, and documentation.
- Validate and maintain data across multiple internal platforms, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Administer website content and user access for training and certification platforms.
- Lead small to medium‑sized projects, applying operational and subject‑matter knowledge to meet deadlines.
- Facilitate planning, execution, and status discussions with internal stakeholders.
- Provide timely updates to team members and leadership, escalating risks or issues as needed.
- Support rollout, adoption, and continuous improvement of new tools, processes, and methodologies.
- Identify process improvement opportunities to increase operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of project management experience, or equivalent combinations of education and experience.
- Strong written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to manage complex, customer‑facing situations with professionalism.
- Proactive, structured, and comfortable driving initiatives in a dynamic environment.
- Willingness to travel occasionally to San Diego.
Required skills
- Experience with eLearning platforms and certification systems.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Knowledge of Agile methodology, PMP principles, and Six Sigma concepts.
- Data management and validation across multiple systems.
- Website content administration and user access management.
