Project Manager – Grid Technologies

About the role
The Project Manager will lead the execution of grid technology projects, overseeing transportation, logistics, customer interface, scheduling, and the installation of transformer and switchgear equipment across Central America. You will collaborate with global factory project teams, business development, marketing, logistics, and contract administrators to ensure safe, compliant delivery.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, and resource assignments aligned with objectives.
- Manage the full project lifecycle from initiation and scoping through implementation and closure.
- Monitor and report project status, tracking progress against timelines, milestones, and quality standards.
- Control project budgets, including cost forecasting, invoicing, and regular financial reporting.
- Identify, analyze, and mitigate risks to prevent delays and budget overruns.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all stakeholders, facilitating communication and expectation management.
- Manage changes to scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience managing business or operational projects.
- Strong organization and communication abilities, especially for customer relationship management, negotiation, and reporting.
- Proven experience with the full project management lifecycle and client‑facing deliverables.
- Fluent in English.
