Project Manager – Mining Services (North America)

About the role

The Project Manager will lead and execute mining service projects across North America, ensuring delivery within scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards. This role acts as the central coordination point between customers and internal teams such as engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, and operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the full project lifecycle from handover to closeout, maintaining schedules, budgets, risk registers, and execution plans.
• Monitor performance, implement corrective actions, and ensure safe, on‑time, on‑budget delivery.
• Manage scope changes, claims, and variations while maintaining contractual compliance.
• Serve as primary customer interface, building strong relationships and communicating milestones.
• Develop and track project budgets, forecasts, and profitability; support invoicing and cash collection.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams (engineering, procurement, logistics, manufacturing, operations, commercial) to align resources and material availability.
• Identify and mitigate risks, ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards, and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, Mining Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• PMP certification preferred; additional project‑management certifications are a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of project‑management experience in mining, heavy industry, industrial equipment, manufacturing, or aftermarket services.
