Project Manager – New Product Development

About the role

Fortune Brands Innovations is seeking a Project Manager to lead new product development and continuous‑improvement initiatives from ideation through commercialization. You will own the Stage‑Gate process, coordinate cross‑functional teams, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead multiple end‑to‑end strategic projects across several product lines and channels.
• Develop, monitor, and control project schedules, budgets, and risk mitigation plans.
• Utilize the Fortune Brands Innovation (FBIN) enterprise Project & Portfolio Management (PPM) system to plan, track, and report progress.
• Champion the Stage‑Gate product development process and ensure timely gate reviews and documentation.
• Collaborate with marketing, product management, engineering, manufacturing, sourcing, finance, legal, and sales teams.
• Allocate resources appropriately and motivate functional areas throughout development.
• Drive speed‑to‑market while maintaining product cost, quality, and schedule targets.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing new product development or continuous‑improvement projects from concept to launch.
• Strong ability to work with cross‑functional teams and influence stakeholders.
• Excellent organizational, risk‑management, and communication skills.

Required skills

• Familiarity with the Stage‑Gate product development methodology.
• Experience using an enterprise Project & Portfolio Management (PPM) system.
