Project Manager – Utility-Scale Battery Storage

About the role

Fractal Power is seeking a Project Manager to lead the end‑to‑end delivery of utility‑scale battery energy storage projects in the ERCOT market. You will own every phase from greenfield site acquisition through interconnection, construction, energization and commercial operation.

Key responsibilities

• Own schedule, budget and commercial operation date for assigned projects, from site control to COD.
• Develop and maintain an integrated master schedule that aligns land acquisition, permitting, procurement, engineering, EPC construction and utility work.
• Administer the EPC contract: issue work orders, negotiate change orders, track milestones, and ensure scope, schedule and quality compliance.
• Drive permitting and approvals with counties, municipalities, transmission and distribution utilities, and ERCOT.
• Maintain a live risk register and produce a single‑source project status report.
• Coordinate cross‑functional resources within the company to keep projects on track.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering large‑scale energy storage or similar utility‑scale infrastructure projects.
• Strong track record managing EPC contracts and complex stakeholder environments.
• Ability to work autonomously with high ownership and accountability.
