Property Manager – Mexico

About the role

The Property Manager will be based in Mexico and act as the functional leader for Facility Managers across all IKEA units in the country. The role also serves as a Subject Matter Expert for property‑related and MEPF matters across Southeast Asia and Mexico, supporting efficient and sustainable property operations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert guidance on technical property and MEPF issues for Ikano Retail in Southeast Asia and Mexico.
• Lead the Asset & Property Management team to deliver annual objectives and climate transition initiatives.
• Oversee maintenance, safety, compliance and long‑term improvement plans for all IKEA properties.
• Coordinate budgeting, forecasts and 5‑/10‑year rolling property plans.
• Collaborate with the Expansion team on design, handover and launch of new properties.
• Drive regional implementation of property‑management innovations and digital solutions.
• Conduct annual property reviews and represent the team in regional committees and working groups.

Required profile

• Mature, independent leader with extensive experience in property management.
• Proven ability to manage cross‑regional teams and act as a subject‑matter expert.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, capable of influencing committees and working groups.
• Commitment to sustainability and climate‑transition goals.
