Purchasing Coordinator – ERP & Bilingual (English/Spanish)

About the role

The Purchasing Coordinator supports the supply chain by managing purchase orders, vendor communication and material availability for our U.S., Mexico and Canada facilities. The role requires daily data entry in an ERP system, coordination with internal customers and suppliers, and ensuring raw material continuity.

Key responsibilities

• Enter and maintain purchase orders for designated facilities in the ERP system.
• Execute purchase requisition, vendor acknowledgement, order expediting and material transfer processes.
• Track order status and communicate with facilities, suppliers and carriers to resolve issues such as shortages, over‑shipments or damaged goods.
• Maintain electronic filing systems and databases related to purchasing activities.
• Provide regular updates to scheduling and customer service regarding order deviations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Minimum three years of purchasing experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint) at an intermediate level.
• Experience entering data into an integrated ERP system; VISUAL ERP preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish communication.
