Purchasing Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Purchasing Manager to support The Standard, Mexico City’s hotel operations. The role ensures that all products, services and partnerships meet the brand’s high standards while delivering value and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all purchasing and procurement activities across hotel operations.
• Source products, services and suppliers that align with brand quality and operational standards.
• Build and maintain strong vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, pricing and service agreements.
• Monitor inventory levels and purchasing trends to optimise stock and control costs.
• Partner with department leaders to forecast purchasing requirements.
• Ensure timely delivery of goods and services while maintaining quality expectations.
• Track purchasing budgets, identify savings opportunities and improve operational efficiency.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, documentation and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, purchasing procedures and local regulations.
• Continuously evaluate supplier performance and drive improvements.

Required profile

• Degree or solid foundation in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Hospitality or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement or supply chain operations.
• Strong understanding of procurement processes, inventory management and vendor relations.
