QA Automation Architect – Lead UI & API Automation

About the role

We are looking for a visionary QA Automation Architect to define and drive automation strategy across multiple products. The role combines hands‑on development with technical leadership, ensuring our testing frameworks are scalable, maintainable, and tightly integrated into CI/CD pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Lead hands‑on development and ownership of scalable UI and API automation frameworks using Playwright and TypeScript.
• Define and execute an automation strategy that incorporates AI‑driven testing and cloud‑native validation.
• Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams to embed automation deeply into continuous delivery pipelines.
• Mentor QA teams, promote best practices, coding standards, and continuous improvement.
• Explore emerging technologies to increase testing velocity and reliability.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in automation architecture, test automation and software development leadership.
• Strong background in designing frameworks for complex multi‑tiered web applications.
• Passion for innovation, technical leadership and mentoring high‑performing teams.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
