Quality Control Analyst – Food Color Industry

About the role
ROHA, a global leader in colors and food ingredients, is seeking a Quality Control Analyst to join its technical team in Queretaro, Mexico. The role focuses on ensuring the quality and compliance of synthetic and natural food color batches throughout production.
Key responsibilities
- Manage quality control release of color batches, including validation of production orders, equipment cleaning, blend analysis, SAP approval, COA issuance, label validation, and sample retention.
- Analyze batches for potential shelf‑life extensions and evaluate raw materials from alternative suppliers.
- Perform root‑cause analysis on non‑conforming products and document findings in SAP.
- Maintain customer‑specific labeling information and product classifications in SAP.
- Inspect operational activities for GMP compliance and report deviations.
- Oversee hazardous waste removal and laboratory material procurement.
Required profile
- Experience in the food color industry.
- Based in Queretaro, Mexico.
- Full‑time availability (5‑day work week) and reporting to the Technical Manager.
Required skills
- SAP for information and batch management.
- Root cause analysis of quality issues.
- Knowledge of GMP standards.
